Land O’ Lakes Fireworks & Celebration – July 3rd

Land O' Lakes Fireworks Show 5:30 pm Gates open for tailgating and pre-fireworks fun! 10:15 pm The best Fireworks Show in the Northwoods (sponsored by the Phelps/Land O' Lakes Lions Club) Gateway Lodge July 3rd Party 6pm to Midnight, at the Gateway Lodge Food and Drinks will be available outside in the courtyard located off of the restaurant. Music by The Influence 8:00PM-midnight. They play everything from Chuck Berry, to the Doors, to U2, to Johnny Cash! Please bring your own chair to listen to the music. Stick around to watch the fireworks from the best seats in town!

Lando Center 3Bear 5K Run

A recreational 5 kilometer route welcomes runners, walkers, and bicyclers of all ages and abilities. A timer is provided for serious racers. The course is a multi-media surface of asphalt, gravel trails, and mowed grass. Preregister forms with instructions available at LandoCenter.com. There is also day of race registration.

4th of July Parade & Party

Join us for big fun at our small town 4th of July Parade! The parade starts promptly at noon. Spectators: The parade begins at the Bel-Air Motel and runs west along Land O' Lakes main street (County Hwy B) all the way to Chippewa Drive. You are invited to set up chairs or simply stand anywhere along this route. Parade Theme: Our Northwoods Treasures Participants: Participation in the family friendly Land O' Lakes 4th of July Parade is open to all businesses, organizations, families, and individuals. Parade participants should be in the spirit of celebrating the 4th of July and incorporate this year's theme, "Our Northwoods Treasures", as much as they can. There will be trophies for the top entries including a special youth award. No need to preregister your entry. Entries must be family friendly Participants must line up before 11:30 to help assure a prompt start at noon. Participants will line up along Oak Street, turning in at the Krist Food Mart and following the guidance of the parade crew. Party in the Park From 1:00 to 4:00 After the parade head to the Party in the Park, located at the Land O' Lakes Pavilion, on Chippewa Drive next to the Story Book Garden. The party includes free live music by Decade XS, food, fun, and games! Other Activities (July 3rd and 4th) July 3rd, 6pm - Midnight, Gateway Lodge July 3rd Party - Music by the Influence from 8pm to midnight July 3rd, 10:15 PM Fireworks at the Land O' Lakes Airport (Gates open at 5:30 - come and tailgate before the show!) A self guided tour of almost forty artist's studios, many of which are rarely open to the public. The Art Tour encourages the public to learn about the art making process. Artist studios and galleries will be providing demonstrations during the event. Artwork will also be for sale at each location.

WW II D-Day Airplane Tours

The Land O' Lakes Historical Society is bringing an authentic World War II D-Day airplane, the Placid Lassie, to the Land O' Lakes airport for public tours! Tours are available on Friday, July 23 from 9 am to 3 pm and in conjunction with Land O' Lakes Airport Day on Saturday, July 23 from 8 am to 3 pm. Airport Radar Run

The Radar Run is set and a go for September 10, 2022!!! Run what you brung!! Bring your safety equipment, no helmet no go, no exceptions! The entry fee gets you as many passes as you can do between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Come have fun participate or spectate, respect the airport and the public it’s a family friendly event all is welcome. There will be a food vendor on site. Registration begins at 8:00 am
