You’ll find all the backcountry gear you don’t want to bring from home; the outfitter rents light canoes, kayaks that can handle the rapids, bikes perfect for the trails and rowboats ideal for fishing. The business also rents or sells all the gear, food and supplies you need to explore the backcountry. It also offers daytrips on local rivers, sells fishing licenses, has a full tackle shop and maps that will help you navigate this place. The business is located right on the trail for bikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers, and it offers cross-country ski rentals right at the shop. Perhaps most importantly, the place has Bob. The owner of this shop for more than 40 years, Bob Zelinski is a native of the area who has all the inside information you’ll need to get the most out of your next adventure. To find the outfitter from Land O’ Lakes, head 8.7 miles north on Highway 45 and turn left on U.S. Highway 2. Travel 1.4 miles. Sylvania Outfitters will be on the left.
